YOUR TIME AND CHANCE

Image
Today’s Scripture "…time and chance happen to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11, AMPC) Before the foundation of the world, God laid out a plan for your life. He created you with a purpose, for a purpose, and He created you to be successful! He has marked moments already laid out that are going to come across your path. These moments are not ordinary. They are destiny-altering moments. They are designed to thrust you years ahead. Ecclesiastes tells us that time and chance come together for every person. That means you will have opportunities to meet the right people, opportunities to advance in your career, and opportunities to fulfill your dreams. God has already prearranged for you times of increase, promotion and blessing. Today, open your eyes of faith and see the good things God has in store for your future. Thank Him for what He’s doing and what He’s about to do. Thank Him for divine connections and marked moments because He is ready and willing to fulfill every

NO IMPOSSIBILITIES

Image
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY, 18TH MARCH. NO IMPOSSIBILITIES. …If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). The Christian life is one of limitless possibilities. Nothing is too difficult or unattainable for you, if your faith and confidence is in the Word of God. Jesus didn’t say, “All things are possible with God alone”; rather, He said, “All things are possible to him that believes.” That means you can do anything, and be everything God has destined you to be, if you’d put your faith to work. Rather than be discouraged when situations challenge your faith, get excited, because it’s your opportunity to manifest the glory of God. It doesn’t matter the strength of your adversaries, you’ll always prevail. Believe and act on the Word. Put your faith to work. Refuse to consider circumstances. The inspiring story of Abraham and his wife Sarah proves that indeed, anything is possible if you have faith. The Bible says against natural hope, A

GIVE YOUR ALL TO GOD

Give Your All to God by Joyce Meyer - posted March 18, 2017 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. — Jeremiah 1:5 Every day you need to give yourself entirely to God. Say, "Lord, I am Yours. I want to be a vessel fit for Your use. I dedicate myself to You: I give You my hands, my mouth, my mind, my body, my money, and my time. Father, here I am. I am Yours; do with me whatever You want to do today." Once you dedicate yourself to God, then go on about your business. But expect His leading all day long. Listen for His voice to direct you in the way you should go. Accept the challenge to be an instrument for the Lord's use today.

KEEP GOD'S WORDS

SATURDAY, MARCH 18, 2017 KEEP GOD’S WORDS -PSALM 119:57-64 KEY VERSE: "Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words" (Psalm 119:57). As D.L. Moody once said, "You know that when you were a child and were disobedient to your parents, you not only made them unhappy but were unhappy yourself. There will be no peace in any soul until it is willing to obey the voice of God. I believe that the great reason there is so much trouble in this world is because we are living in disobedience to God’s laws, God’s commands and God’s Word..." The psalmist realised this, repented of his evil ways, turned unto the Lord and promised to keep His commandments. He made the Lord his everlasting portion.  There are specific admonitions in Scriptures for every category of people. To the youth, the Bible admonishes in Ecclesiastes 12:1: "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou

WHY WE MUST HOLD FAST OUR HOPE

Image
MARCH 18 Why We Must Hold Fast Our Hope Devotional by John Piper When God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. (Hebrews 6:17–18) God is not inconsistent. He does not exert himself with promises, and oaths, and the blood of his Son simply to anchor down one end of our security while leaving the other to dangle in the air. The salvation Jesus obtained by his blood was everything it takes to save his people, not just part of it. So, we are prone to ask, Why does the writer encourage us to hold fast to our hope (Hebrews 6:18)? If our holding fast was obtained and irrevocably secured by the blood of Jesus, then why does God tell us to hold fast? The answer is this: What Christ bought for us when he died

GUARD YOUR FAITH

GUARD YOUR FAITH- Saturday March 18th 2017 Memorise: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Jude 1:20 Read: 1st John 5:4-5 (KJV) 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Bible in one year: Exodus 13-14, Isaiah 63:1-14, Hymn: Sing hymn 1 MESSAGE: As you go through life, the winds, waves and storms of life work against your progress, but be encouraged by the testimony of those who have successfully gone ahead of you in the Christian race. They serve as witnesses of God’s ability to keep His children from failing (Hebrews 12:1). God not only calls, He also keeps and sustains the called. Jude 1:24 says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,” Be assured that

SOMETHING'S WRONG

Something’s Wrong Jolene Philo Psalm 34:11–18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 The morning after our son, Allen, was born, the doctor sat down in a chair near the foot of my bed and said, “Something’s wrong.” Our son, so perfect on the outside, had a life-threatening birth defect and needed to be flown to a hospital 700 miles away for immediate surgery. When the doctor tells you something is wrong with your child, your life changes. Fear of what lies ahead can crush your spirit and you stumble along, desperate for a God who will strengthen you so you can support your child. Would a loving God allow this? you wonder. Does He care about my child? Is He there? These and other thoughts shook my faith that morning. Then my husband, Hiram, arrived and heard the news. After the doctor left, Hiram said, “Jolene, let’s pray.” I nodded and he took my hand. “Thank You, Father, for giving Allen to us. He’s Yours, God, not ou
