Don’t Wing It by Joyce Meyer

Don’t Wing It by Joyce Meyer - posted May 08, 2017 Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered and, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him. —Hebrews 5:8-9 Ever found yourself in a situation where you did not take time to prepare for something at work or at church and you’re expected to do something? Your heart starts hammering, the butterflies in your stomach start flittering, and you quietly think to yourself, I’ll just wing it. You’re not prepared, but you’re hoping you can pull it off anyway and nobody will ever know. Even if you do manage to deceive other people, you will know the truth and you won’t feel good about it. Down deep inside you will know that you did not do your best. You might feel relieved that you managed to get through it, but you did it in fear rather than confidence. Even Jesus was trained and prepared

WONDER OF GOD’S CREATION

WONDER OF GOD’S CREATION -PSALM 104:24-35 KEY VERSE: "O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches" (Psalm 104:24). One of the greatest prophets in the history of mankind found it difficult to control his utter amazement until he avowedly exclaimed: "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee". This prophet tried to measure the enormity of God’s power by virtue of what He had done and concluded that there was no problem or challenge that God could not solve. Obviously, God’s creations are the greatest inventions ever. They are so unique that they are far higher than the sharpest of imaginations. He strategically and methodically planned them and they form the basis of any human invention. They are awesome and in God’s own words, "very good". The suspension of the heavens, the stars, the moon, the

DISCOVER JESUS.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 9TH MAY.  http://bit.ly/2dZqtLQ DISCOVER JESUS. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Man doesn’t know reality until he finds Jesus, the Son of the living God. But who exactly is Jesus, the man of Galilee? First, He’s the Word-incarnate. This is an amazing truth. Think about it: Your word is the expression of who you are. It’s the expression of your views, opinions, thoughts, emotions, and ideas. In the same way, the Word of God is the totality of God’s thoughts, ideas, opinions, will, and emotions. John 1:14 tells us that God’s Word was personified, and the result was the man, Jesus: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us He’s the expression of the thoughts, will, and emotions of God. His laughter was God laughing; His smiles were the smiles of God. When He stretched out His hand, that was God stretching out His hand. When He loved, that was God’s love manifested. Everything He d

OPEN HEAVENS 2017 UPGRADE YOUR TITHE – Tuesday May 9th 2017 Memorise:  And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. 2nd Chronicles 31:5 Read:  Malachi 3:8-12 (King James Version) 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, sai

Too Good Not to Share

Too Good Not to Share Lawrence Darmani John 1:6–14 [John] came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe.  John 1:7 During court proceedings, witnesses are more than onlookers or spectators. They are active participants who help determine the outcome of a case. The same is true of our witness for Christ. We are to be active participants in a matter of absolute importance—the truth of Jesus’s death and resurrection. When John the Baptist came to tell people about Jesus, the light of the world, he did so by declaring his knowledge of Jesus. And John the disciple, who recorded the events, testified of his experience with Jesus: “We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). The apostle Paul would elaborate on this idea as he told young Timothy, “The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified
