JUDGMENT ON THE ABOMINABLE

JUDGMENT ON THE ABOMINABLE -EZEKIEL 16:35-43 KEY VERSE: "And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy" (Ezekiel 16:38). A typical 21st century society is bedevilled by all forms of crime: financial, economic, sexual and social perversions, with all forms of atrocities perpetrated against mankind. A question that should readily navigate our minds should be, how would our society have looked like, if there were no laws? This was the case of the children of Israel at the time of Ezekiel. Though they had been given laws to follow, yet they committed all forms of crimes against God (idolatry being the chiefest). It was such a lawless society. Since there appeared to be no law enforcement agents, God took it upon Himself the role of the law enforcement Agent. Judgment was declared upon the abominable nation. This is a great lesson for all to learn. Though it appears that there is no immediate judg...

GOD WILL HELP YOU

OPEN HEAVENS 2017 GOD WILL HELP YOU – Thursday May 11th 2017 Memorise:  For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13 Read:  Isaiah 41:10-14 (King James Version) 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. 14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Singing with Violet

  May 11, 2017 Singing with Violet Dave Branon Philippians 1:21–26 I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Philippians 1:23–24 An elderly woman named Violet sat on her bed in a Jamaican infirmary and smiled as some teenagers stopped to visit with her. The hot, sticky, midday air came into her little group home unabated, but she didn’t complain. Instead, she began wracking her mind for a song to sing. Then a huge smile appeared and she sang, “I am running, skipping, jumping, praising the Lord!” As she sang, she swung her arms back and forth as if she were running. Tears came to those around her, for Violet had no legs. She was singing because, she said, “Jesus loves me—and in heaven I will have legs to run with.” Violet’s joy and hopeful anticipation of heaven give new vibrancy to Paul’s words in Philippians 1 when he referr...

How To Start The Day

Image
Today’s Scripture "Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds." (Psalm 149:5, NKJV) How to Start the Day As you woke up this morning, what was the first thing that went through your mind? Did you wake up with a song of praise on your lips? When we start the day in worship, we start the day connected to Almighty God. When we live a lifestyle of praise, it shows that our faith is constantly in Him. We make glorifying God a priority. It’s not secondary, “Oh, if I have time.” No, you’re always talking about God’s goodness. You’re constantly telling your friends how God has blessed you. In your car, you’re singing songs of praise. At the office, under your breath, you’re thanking God for His favor. You get up in the morning and say, “God, I love You today. I praise You today. Thank You for another beautiful day.” Then when you go to bed at night, you bless Him for His faithfulness! Friend, when...

ERROR OF PERSISTENT DISOBEDIENCE

ERROR OF PERSISTENT DISOBEDIENCE -JUDGES 2:11-15 KEY VERSE: "And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them..." (Judges 2:12). A man once spent 16 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. It was a miscarriage of justice! Although there are occasional miscarriages of justice in earthly courts, there will be none of such in the hearing of Heaven. When men appear before God to give account for their deeds, every transgression and disobedience will receive a just recompense of reward. For the Judge of all the earth will do right! When a man appears before Him, it will be either "Come ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you...", or "Depart from Me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels". Israel had been special, occupying a privileged positi...

MICROWAVE CHRISTIANITY

OPEN HEAVENS 2017 MICROWAVE CHRISTIANITY – Wednesday May 10th 2017 Memorise:  And we desire that every one of you shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: Hebrews 6:11 Read:  Hebrews 6:1-3 (King James Version) 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. Bible in one year:  Deuteronomy 11-12, Jeremiah 29:1-14, Hymn: Sing hymn 6 MESSAGE In the midst of delay, man often comes up with alternatives to God’s original plan or purpose. This is a dangerous thing to do because man’s alternative charts a new course, which can completely take the individual concerned out of God’s original plan. Also, any such alternative is usually nothing more than just a quic...
